Humpty Dumpty: Before the Fall
We all know that Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, We all know that Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. But, we are never quite sure what he was doing on the wall in the first place, are we? Think about, nobody just sits around on a wall for no reason. I have done extensive research and pieced together the following story which is the series of events leading up to the great fall.
Once upon a time there was a man named Humpty Dumpty. He had a rare disease that made his bones very weak and brittle. One day as Humpty was walking down the street looking for a job, he saw construction being done on a house. He said to himself, “hmmm… That’s what I will do for a job”! “I’ve heard theirs good pay in that”, he thought.
So, Humpty Dumpty ran to one of the workers and asked, “Who hired you and how can I find him”? The man said, “His name is Al Roberson and you can find him at 5301 Main Street”. “Thanks”, said Humpty Dumpty. “No problem”, said the worker. So Humpty Dumpty went to the address and found Al Roberson and while looking over the form there was a question that asked the employee if he had any medical problems. He lied and checked of no. Humpty Dumpty got the job.
As he walked to the store to buy some tools he stepped in a puddle of grease but being so happy that he had a new job he didn’t even notice. After he got some tools, he went to his work site but with the grease still wet he was heading for disaster. As he walked up a ladder he slipped and Humpty Dumptys career as a construction worker ended with a splat. Ouch! He went to the doctor and found out he had a broken arm so he went to his boss’s office to tell him.
Meanwhile, his boss was coming to fire him for lying on the application. Once he got there he couldn’t find Humpty so he went back to his office. Mr. Roberson found Humpty at his office and the first words out of his mouth were “you’re fired”! Humpty Dumpty left in despair. He went and sat on a wall by the kings’ castle and said “darn, I lied, I broke my arm and I lost my job”.
Suddenly the kings’ chariot rushed by very quickly and startled him; making him fall and break his little skull. He was having one REALLY bad day! The chariot stopped and brought him to the hospital. He healed fine, and always remembered that one little lie wrecked his whole day.

Wade and I have been friends since we were four years old. Since my first day of school, seven years ago, we have been friends. Our teachers say that he and I have been mad geniuses since fourth grade. Pretty soon I will add some of the designs Wade and I have drawn; hope you like them. Mainly they’re fighter jets and submarines, I’m not very good at all the other stuff like boats and motorcycles; at least not yet. I think we have some very, very cool stuff.
